HDBank Green Marathon 2026: Can Gio Rebuilds the Road of Community Running

The HDBank Green Marathon 2026 is not an elite race with record-chasing fields. It returns for its fifth season in Can Gio, Ho Chi Minh City, using an AIMS-certified route inside a UNESCO-recognized mangrove area. The event offers 5km, 10km, 21km and 42km distances, along with children's and team categories. This article discusses the community value, the terrain challenges, the digital banking integration, the environmental impact, and why sustainable mass-participation events matter more than collecting world records. From a personal point of view based on my years following endurance sport, the key measurement is not winning time but participation depth, safety and long-term habit building. I also point out that a mangrove route is technical and humid, so runners need conservative pacing rather than chasing personal bests. The growing digital race and HDBank's business ecosystem are explained in the context of Vietnam's domestic sports transformation. This is a race for the community, using green steps as a pathway to connect sport, banking and nature.
